Welcome to Splendid Flowers & Arrangements, a local floral business run by friends and moms, Megan Ranck and Alisha Ebersole. We share a love for flowers and gardening, and with our flower farms located in New Holland and Manheim, Pa we have the ability to serve clients and brides throughout the Lancaster, Pa area. We started by creating flower arrangements for two local restaurants each week and we continue to deliver our fresh flowers to their tables today! We strive to grow high quality flowers for our customers and have enjoyed serving them through many weddings and events over the last few years. We like to think our flowers are just Splendid!
Hi, I'm Megan Ranck. My husband and 3 young children reside in New Holland, PA. My passion for flowers started when I was a little girl. My Grammy was a wonderful gardener and would always let me help her in her flower beds when we would go to visit. She would always have fresh flowers from her garden in her house during the summer months. She passed the love of gardening to my mom who taught me so much over the years.
When I had a home of my own, my husband and I loved creating new flower beds and gardening spaces around our property. I love arranging fresh flowers in our home and have always loved sharing flowers with others. I have taken classes through Longwood Gardens in hopes to complete their certificate of floral merit and have also taken many continuing education classes on gardening. I love being able to serve our local community in New Holland, and greater Lancaster County, providing fresh flowers for local businesses, events, and weddings.
Hi! I am Alisha Ebersole and in 2017 my husband and our three daughters moved to a small farm in Manheim, PA. We planned to raise cattle but the owners before us grew lots of flowers so we pursued flower farming! My formal education is in accounting but I always enjoyed getting my hands in the dirt and “taking garden tours” with my mom growing up. I have an eye for design and details including studying Spanish art and architecture in Barcelona.
Longwood Garden’s floral classes have taught me the techniques and design principles necessary to create florals for weddings and events. I feel honored to create floral arrangements for people’s most intimate life events.
There is nothing more exciting than seeing all my labor and hard work of growing flowers transform into an elegant bridal bouquet or a fresh flower arrangement to cheer up a friend! My family loves using our land to grow beauty for local events!
